Thanksgiving

27Nov09

Sorry, getting into the groove here in DFW has kept us from updating everyone on what’s up. Jeremy has officially been here for three months. Within that time, we’ve experienced a lot of changes. We’ve closed the Chattanooga chapter of our lives; celebrated the homecoming of Jeremy’s PaPa; had a visit from Ted, Kathleen, Maggie [...]

We’ve been in DFW for a couple of weeks now. It took a solid two to get our internet / wireless hooked up. We’re as settled as we can be in our temporary apartment. We’ve been holding on to the hope that our house in Chattanooga would beat the odds and sell quickly. About that, [...]

Whirlwind. This is the word that best describes our past two weeks. Our final two weeks in Chattanooga. Intentional. This is what we’ve tried to be, recognizing that our time with longtime friends will soon come to an end geographically speaking. I (Jeremy) have been finishing up 21 semester hours. Becky has been packing a [...]

We’re pumped. 5 years ago we had an awesome wedding celebration. Friends, family, and people who have made a tremendous impact in our lives showed up for the fun. Our videographer didn’t show up, so we put these little videos together from our wedding proofs (our photographer gave the approval). For those that were there, [...]

Becky had her wisdom teeth taken out this week. I painted this picture… I KID! I’ve threatened to shoot video of the stupor. Though I am a adrenaline junky, however, I value my life too much to post at this time (notice the hope and expectation that one day it will surface–50th anniversary perhaps?). The [...]

Jeremy here, It’s official, the Lucarelli’s are relocating to Dallas, Texas. On August 9th Becky and I will be traveling there in view of call at First Baptist Euless for the pastor of University and Young Singles. Basically, if they’re single and 18-34 I’m their shepherd. Our goal is to search homes via the internet, [...]

Bella’s learned some new tunes. Over the past few weeks she has increased her repetoire immensely, so we’ll be posting some highlights, of course, here on the blog. This one includes “Jesus love the little children” and a song from Veggie Tales’ Madame Blueberry, which she apparently watched repeatedly wtih Mama on our recent visit [...]

NC Adventure

07Jul09

For the sake of reliving the pain, I won’t go into how ‘bella, Max, and I made it to NC in an 8hr trip in the rain in the midst of potty training. Jeremy was away for a Precept workshop in Iowa and then flew straight to Charlotte and Columbia for a week at school. [...]

So the last few weeks we have been in potty training mode. I talked to friends who have had triumphs and failures, read some blogs and was armed with everything I needed including potty treats, and a potty chart complete with stickers. I will say the key is to prepare for the worst but positively [...]
