Pre-Christmas :)

1st Christmas

2nd Christmas

We’ll be taking this years Christmas soon! Bella is so pumped about it this year. She loves looking at the lights in the neighborhood, singing Silent Night and Jingle Bells, and kissing Max underneath the Mistletoe!

DFW Runners

09Dec09

Aight, we’ve talked about it, but it’s time to get to gettin. You’re in the midst of finals week. Many of you have turned in all of those papers and projects. I’ve still got a few to turn in this week and next. I’ve realized, now that I’ve been here for 3 months, that running is a way to keep me sane. I never thought I would say it, but it’s true. We’ve been talking about half-marathons and full marathons for the past couple of weeks. There is 18 weeks until the Big D Marathon (April 11) and 12 weeks until the Cow-town. If you’re interested, go here: http://www.halhigdon.com/marathon/Mar00novice.htm to get a training program (I’m doing Novice 1). We’ll probably have some people get together for long runs on Saturday mornings. At the beginning of the year, I may even join a running club at Luke’s Locker if any of you are interested.

It’s official, as I told Joe and Stoneking the other day, because I’ve started training for it… but you’re going to want to sign up and register for it too. Comment here if your thinking about either one.

Thanksgiving

27Nov09

Sorry, getting into the groove here in DFW has kept us from updating everyone on what’s up.

Jeremy has officially been here for three months. Within that time, we’ve experienced a lot of changes. We’ve closed the Chattanooga chapter of our lives; celebrated the homecoming of Jeremy’s PaPa; had a visit from Ted, Kathleen, Maggie and Luc; and have continued to develop a vision for what God is going to do through us here at First Euless.

We’ve been spending the last week moving from our apartment to our new home in Ft. Worth, which we closed on last Friday. Every day we take a load–Jeremy, Becky, Max, and Bella–and then unload, paint, and thank God for His provision. Becky has been painting Bella’s room. Each time Bella walks by she puts on the surprised face and says, “It’s my favorite color-pink!” Jeremy has been trying to balance family, work, and seminary (2 weeks left on one class and then one more class in January!); running and working out has taken a back seat. God is pushing the 18-35 year olds of First Euless out of the four

Share photos on twitter with Twitpicwalls of the church, infecting the DFW community with the gospel.

Several weeks ago Bella began talking about Pumpkin Pie, so she and Becky made one in the new kitchen on Thanksgiving. She is a fan. We’ll do our best to keep friends and family updated on what’s going on around here.

Miss and love you all!

We’re finally getting our family pictures made! Jeremy has been the procrastinating one! We wanted to get them done before leaving Chattanooga, but that didn’t happen. Though it has been a long time coming, we’re pumped with Braeden Rogers with Ambient 11 Photography.

Go to his blog to check out his work (with a cameo from us too).
